The load must be evenly distributed along the entire length of the vehicle so that it does not affect effective vehicle handling. Any cargo must be transported in a way that poses no danger to other road users. Cargo must be safely positioned within the vehicle's dimensions and maximum permissible weight. Furthermore, the secured load must not shift or fall off during turns or braking.
Explain how proper operation of retro-reflectors is checked.
Make sure all retro-reflectors are fitted, clean, and functioning (not cracked or broken).
Explain how proper condition of mudguards (fenders) is checked on the vehicle.
The condition of mudguards (fenders) is checked visually as part of the daily inspection.

Upon shift completion, stop the vehicle, turn off the engine (automatically switching mode to rest), select ending location (country), confirm with 'OK', and close the working day. For multi-driver crews, insert the second driver's card into slot 2.
